Panda Action

The Adelaide Zoo has two Pandas from China now and for the next 10 years. Mum took us all to see them yesterday. The Adelaide Zoo have done an amazing job with the Pandas enclosure.

Back to mums in the evening for a BBQ dinner with close family & friends.

Loving being here BUT I miss RRR & PBS radio - and we missed the closing of The Tote :(

cat lover

I loved this cat fabric the moment I saw it I knew I had to make something from it for my mum, who is a MAD cat lover!

I am drowning in a sea of lycra at the moment at our yearly trip to my old home town of Adelaide.

We went to see Neko Case also on Saturday night in a very intimate gig with Jen Clother as the support. Last time I saw Neko it was at a full house at the Prince Of Wales - so it was very nice to be up close and personal with the sensational voice that is Neko Case.

Dodge

The first week-end in Jan Sime, my Aunty, Molly & I drove about 2 hours South West of Melbourne to the quaint old town of Clunes. My cousin John, his partner and little girl have this amazing house and a decent sized property. Sheds full of items picked up over the years - a loft in one of his sheds for a hideout (TV and all) - Lots and lots of beautiful roses and plants and plenty of space for the kids to run around and explore. John has this AMAZING old Dodge Truck early 1900's that he takes the kids for rides in around his property. I wouldn't be surprised if you could here our little one screaming with absolute excitement!!

I also scored this amazing 1920's (we think) Singer Sewing Machine which I'll take a photo of and show next post - along with MONTH 2!
